Digital Wallet lets you make purchases without pulling out a physical card. Whether checking out at a store, shopping online, or paying inside an app, your CIB card stays protected while your payments stay quick and convenient.

How It Works

 
Digital Wallet services enhance security by keeping your actual card numbers private during every transactions. Card details are never transmitted or shared with merchants, and cashiers never see names, card numbers, or security codes.
 
Instead of using the actual card number, your device creates a unique device account number, which is encrypted, and securely stored. When a purchase is made, the device sends the this secure number and a transaction specific security code, to complete the purchase. This adds multiple layers of protection and makes Digital Wallet safer than using a physical card. The same technology also protects payments made through compatible smartwatches, so your card details remain secure no matter which device you use.
