    Position: Business Banker (Commercial Lender)

    We are seeking a relationship-driven Business Banker (Commercial Lender) to develop and manage commercial banking relationships by delivering tailored credit, deposit, and cash management solutions. This role focuses on business development, portfolio growth, client retention, and community engagement.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop new commercial banking relationships with businesses, non-profits, and community organizations.
    • Manage and grow an existing portfolio by deepening client relationships and identifying additional opportunities.
    • Structure and recommend commercial lending solutions that align with client needs and bank risk standards.

    Position: Branch Manager

    Location: Hopkins

    POSITION OVERVIEW

     

    The Branch Manager will serve as Leader and Coach and provide the day-to-day leadership for the Hopkins branch. The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing the sales, customer experience and daily operations of the branch. Other responsibilities include actively participating in the implementation of the branch’s business plans, enhancing existing customer relationships, developing relationships with new customers, and leading successful outbound sales efforts.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee activities of the business development for the branch meeting goals related to deposit and consumer loan growth, meet partner referral goals and work collaboratively with bank partners.
    • Annually assess the market served by the branch, identifying obstacles and opportunities. This, along with similar evaluations from other locations, is the basis for the annual consumer business plan.
    • Maintain high visibility and a positive image with existing and prospective customers. Build relationships with businesses and community leaders by actively participating in community activities and events, growing the visibility and name recognition in the market.
    • Identify customers' financial needs and provide appropriate solutions.
    • Provide personal banking services to customers, which include selling deposit products, checking, savings and certificates of deposit. Also sell credit cards, convenience credit, installment loans, and home equity lines of credit.
    • Make appropriate partner referrals for investment services and first and second real estate mortgages.
    • As product manager for the branch, responsible for implementing sales campaign for assigned products utilizing the Marketing Department.
    • Train and support branch staff on various products, services and computer applications.
    • Recruit, interview, select and train Universal Bankers and Tellers.
    • Assist in providing adequate floor coverage during breaks and vacations, etc.
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bank including opening and closing of any of the locations as a situation may require, including Saturday coverage, as applicable.
    • Manage bank staff including coaching, counseling, evaluating performance, and salary administration of all direct reports, as well as overseeing the responsibilities of each of the direct reports.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum of five years retail banking experience preferred
    • Strong sales coaching skills
    • Willingness to become involved with and participate in community events
    • Ability to work well with business partners within the organization
    • Strong consumer lending skills
    • Strong knowledge of bank operation policies and procedures
    • Proven ability to sell and cross-sell bank products and services
    • Proven ability to develop new business
    • Position requires ability to have or obtain a NMLS License

    Position: Deposit Operations Specialist I

    Location: Robbinsdale

    We are seeking an experienced Deposit Operations Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting consumer and business deposit products, digital banking services, debit card operations, ACH processing, fraud monitoring and overall deposit operations functions.

     

    The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can exercise sound judgment, manage multiple priorities and consistently meet critical deadlines while providing exceptional service to both customers and bank employees. Accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and the ability to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity are essential for success in this role.

    This is a full-time position located at our Robbinsdale branch, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday morning scheduling.


    What You'll Do:

     

    Digital Banking Administration

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit and other digital banking services.
    • Perform setup, maintenance, administration and troubleshooting for consumer and business online banking customers.
    • Provide support to customers and employees through phone, email, secure messaging and other service channels.
    • Monitor online services for suspicious or fraudulent activity and take appropriate action when necessary.

     

    Deposit Operations

    • Perform account maintenance and servicing functions for consumer and business deposit accounts.
    • Process stop payments, account changes, corrections, research requests and exception items.
    • Complete balancing and reconciliation activities while ensuring operational accuracy.
    • Support document imaging, record retention and other operational processes.

     

    Debit Card Administration

    • Card ordering, processing, reporting and customer support.
    • Process and resolve debit card disputes, fraud claims and Regulation E requests.
    • Monitor card activity and identify unusual transaction patterns.

     

    ACH & Treasury Management Support

    • Process ACH transactions, returns, Notifications of Change (NOCs) and exception items.
    • Serve as backup support for Cash Management services.
    • Assist with business online banking, Positive Pay, ACH origination and Remote Deposit Capture support and maintenance.
    • Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of treasury management solutions.

     

    Fraud Prevention & Risk Management

    • Monitor deposit, ACH, debit card and online banking activity for potential fraud.
    • Investigate suspicious activity and escalate concerns as appropriate.
    • Support compliance with NACHA rules, BSA/AML requirements, OFAC regulations, Regulation E and other applicable banking regulations.

     

    Process Improvement & Team Support

    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, service levels and internal controls.
    • Participate in system testing, upgrades and implementation projects.
    • Maintain and update department procedures and documentation.
    • Complete special projects and research requests as assigned.
    • Provide cross-functional support throughout the Deposit Operations Department.

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Minimum of One to three years of banking experience in Deposit Operations, Digital Banking, ACH, Management or a related banking operations role.
    • Working knowledge and experience with Jack Henry banking systems is required, including SilverLake, Banno, Xperience, Synapsys, and other Jack Henry integrated applications.
    • Strong understanding of deposit products, digital banking platforms and operational processes.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity.
    • Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Ability to read, understand and follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Additional education in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
    • ACH processing and NACHA rules experience.
    • Cash Management experience.
