September is Community Impact Month! Started by the Minnesota Bankers Association, CIB is excited to have a month dedicated to employee volunteer projects and serving our communities.

All Month: CIB Beautification Project
CIB staff will be planting trees, planting perennial flowers, writing & drawing encouraging messages with sidewalk chalk, and picking up litter throughout the communities they live in and serve.
Canaan Fir seedlings will be available at all locations beginning September 11th. Limited Supplies.

September — Book Collection to benefit St. Louis Park Community Education:
During the month, all staff will be collecting books to be distributed to the Lenox Senior Program, school classrooms and to early childhood programs. Please help the cause by bringing in your new/lightly used books to any of our locations.

September 4: Pick Up the Park:
9/4 CIB staff will be picking up trash at Aquila Park in St. Louis Park, and Lakeview Terrance Park in Robbinsdale.

September 11: PRISM Personal Care:
CIB staff will be packaging donated diapers and wipes. PRISM is an organization that provides dignity-centered resources for food, housing, and other basic needs in communities we serve.

September 17: PRISM Fresh Produce Distribution:
CIB staff will be distributing fresh produce at PRISM. A primary mission of the organization is to ensure neighbors in our community are provided with nutritious food.

September 17: Fostering Kindness:
Starting the week of the 17th, CIB staff will be partnering with One Good Deed to make fleece tie blankets for distribution to organizations such as Foster Adopt MN, Hennepin Healthcare, Gillette’s Children’s Hospital & Children’s Minnesota organizations.

CIB staff will be helping Resource West sort winter gear for their Winter Warm Wear program.

September 25: Flu & Covid Booster Shot Clinic:
Stop by CIB-SLP from 4-6pm and get your flu shot from Cub Pharmacy!
- Register online to reserve your spot.
- Choice of regular or senior dose flu shot.
- Covid boosters also available (Moderna or Pfizer).
- Bring your health insurance card to your appointment.
